cuz i would post to it. cuz i love books. and yes, i enjoy the lit threads on i love everything but, but, um, just wondering is all. ( it would be cool to have lots of authors and titles and books all in one specific place. just don't ask me why i never post on i love film even though i thought it was a cool idea when it started. although, the answer probably lies in me spending so much time on ILM and i only have so much time that i can spend ignoring my baby that i'm supposed to be watching all day. ya know?) i mean if there is room for aggro...

On the main ILX bit I think there's an option to 'start a forum' or some such. I managed it once and I'm a total fucking computer retard, so I'm sure everyone else can do it.

Yeah starting it is the easy part - getting people to post is harder. I check the other boards about once a week or so, when I'm *really* avoiding work.

I'll stick with talking about books here, thanks - ILE has the most intelligent, well-read, interesting people I've ever encountered. I don't want to go elsewhere for it. Well, except when I write and read about them on FT, but that's another approach.

I agree w/ Martin. The reason that ILBaseball is around is because there is so much minutia for the more fanatical of us to discuss that if it occurred on ILE, most people would get mad.

Further, I'm afraid that if I got into ILBoox, I'd be posting in dry, academic-bore stylee. (Unless I already do that?)

well, i'm gonna post on it and if people come that's cool. we'll see. i know that the film forum didn't stop anyone from posting film threads on ILE. and it's perfectly understandable. I think it could be a cool place for someone to post something about a book or author that they think not a lot of people have heard about or read. Plus, aren't all bookworms longing for a room of their own?
