landlord's advice to get a cleaner probably should have been heeded, they seem to be hatching from layer of dust next to radiator :/

I love moths, they are the emissaries of the moon. That dust is probably moon dust.

I think this is what I get for constantly tormenting my brother, who was terrified of moths, with moths I would catch and put in his bedroom when we were both little kids.

Are you knitting some sort of banana protector Abbott, cos that might be stressing them out.

Quite a few years ago in this shopping complex I worked at there was a huge overnight invasion of moths. It was so bad the pet store across the parking lot from my store couldn't open for business the next day. There were mothguts all over my store's windows and inexplicably a bunch of them managed to get into the store and die all over the place.

Not seen it, guessing that the presence of Roy Hudd might be some sort of rope ladder back to safety?

Talk Talk always had quite a mothy thing going on didn't they? They were never something creepy and crepuscular though, more just this weird ravishing emblem of alien nature.

fucking hell this bastard's like three inches wide and too fast to deal with, i'd just sleep and let it vanish as i have no particular fear but its violent collisions with everything are like some free jazz snare work.

a spectacular memory from my youth involves me standing on my bed in my tiny room battling a moth. It periodically went near my reading light, casting a gigantic shadow on my my bedroom, which combined with my desperate and fairly useless pawing and swatting produced a spectral impression of King Kong battling A GENETIC EXPERIMENT GONE HIDEOUSLY WRONG.
