but with more threat of a nuclear exchange

not convinced he'll actually go, which i suppose would be a next-level failure

Yeah, 'he won't even fucking make it' should've been an option. I don't think it's necessarily the most likely but it's certainly possible. Maybe he'll just send Jarvanka in his stead.

Trump can't embarrass himself, he can only embarrass America.

this is the second day in a row adam's popped up on a politics thread to berate us for talking about current affairs like a bunch of fucking chumps

adam, do you need a hug

I think the safest bet is something between option 1 and option 2, if only because Trump has set the bar for world-historic gaffes so high (low?) that i don't even know what would qualify anymore short of him blowing his nose on the pontiff's robe. but certainly he'll do at least three or four things that would have been legacy-defining fuck-ups from any previous president.

it's becoming increasingly clear that likely none of the three options will adequately cover the high weirdness of trump's first overseas trip

I want to touch the orb too, is there a theme park for this or do you have to do the full hajj?

I don't have words for the irony of there being an anti-extremism centre in Saudi Arabia
