when i made the connection the other day that Marc Cherry was behind 2 of my favorite shows of all time (GG and Desperate Housewives), it literally blew my mind.

Cherry only joined GG midstream I thought.

he just has a lot of credits for it. he did not create it, i don't believe. but he was heavily involved and credited. i watched an interview with him the other day where he was saying that at one point he wanted to do a 10-year time lapse for the plot of Desperate Housewives, and joked that "it's all about going back to The Golden Girls for me."
