I found a second-hand bookshop just off the Strand. It stocked a series of books of walking tours of different areas of London, and the book covering the West End and Covent Garden featured a masonic and esoteric walk. "Ooh," I thought, "that would be ideal for an FAP." So I bought it.

it drove right over me and i think crushed a few limbs. (in reality the bottom of the car wouldn't have cleared my body obv. and i'd have been flattened rather than merely seriously injured) ouch ouch.

I was a little pissed off that I travelled so far for such a lame event. Since I just flew in for the day, it started to seem like kind of a waste of time.

I had an ILX dream last night too, but it was kind of boring. I was just visiting someone (I think a London Ilxor but I can't remember who) in an impossibly huge house with high ceilings, and then I started crying for some reason and had a cup of tea.

The only bit I remember was being in a band, or maybe auditioning for a band(?), I was playing guitar but no-one else appeared to have any instruments at all. It was decided we would play a song by _________ (I've forgotten who it was now), but I didn't know it so Dave Boyle said he'd show me how to play it. It consisted of hammering-on (to use a musical term) on all of the strings at the first fret of the guitar in a vaguely funky sorta way. When I came to play, I spent the first minute playing the machine head of the guitar before I realised my error, then I realised there was a change coming up and I said, "What do I do now, just keep chugging away on one chord?". And Dave Boyle said, "Yes, but the right one! A minor!" Then I kept coming in at the wrong bit - tho as no-one else was actually playing anything I don't know where the rest of the music was coming from. Towards the end of the song, I started to get this rather unpleasant controlled feedback thing going and then right at the very end I did this thing with the guitar and the feedback and it made a sound like a voice saying "Easy", and everybody was very disapproving, especially Dave!

I chased grimly down the street and he told me to leave him alone. I said "first you must tell me... When are you? Where are you? What are you doing and why? When are you? Where are you? What are you doing and why? When are you? Where are you? What are you doing and why?"
He replied "It's Monday at 6pm I'm walking down Buchanan Street, going home because my work is done." To which I said "Ah, but don't you see at least 1 in 20 say that and still carry bottled water? You are One In Control!"
He laughed and disappeared into the St Enoch underground station.

The movie included accompaniment by an all-celebrity orchestra, and at one point I was watching Elvis train Cindy Crawford on the cello.
The visuals of the film included animations that were based on Frosted Flakes box (with Tony the Tiger, bright blue background, etc.) and text that would say things like, "America, The Good Guys!"
Later in the dream I complained to my friend that the film was "so OBVIOUS" and that Jim Jarmusch had already made practically the same film. I then suggested that Jarmusch should sue Elvis, which somehow in the dream was supposed to be a funny suggestion.

Hey I had a weird ILXor dream about Stelf0xx the other night! He was driving a strange little minivan that had "Adolf Hitler" painted on the side in funky 50s-car signage. I was all OMG at meeting him as if he was a popstar. Weird. I dont even know him let alone what he looks like.
