i don't think i've ever dreamt about an ilxor! i had a disturbing dream last night though that a fundie christian group paid for a channel on which they showed a 24/7 repeating loop of botched abortions with occasional intertitles like "So, you liberals think abortions should be legalized? Look at the horror you're allowing to happen EVERY DAY IN AMERICA."

These explanations about dreams, are they in anyway correct? For instance, the dreams where your teeth rot or come out is supposed to mean you’re not happy with yourself physically. If they are remotely true, does anyone know what it means when animals keep biting you? It happens to me all the time.

There are lots of lists of specific animals as well so you should look up whatever animals you dream of.

There is a school of thought that the animals represent different people in your life, particularly if you dream of a variety of animals attacking you.

(not that I necessarily believe any of it)

I started telling my brother about a recurring dream I'd been having lately and he finished the story off for me because he was having the EXACT SAME DREAM - kind of freaked me out tbh

a couple of months ago i had a dream that lots of us, ilx and non ilx, went ice-skating on a frozen lake in a city somewhere. it was a gorgeous day, bright and cold-cold, so everyone was glowing and breathing little puffs of steam like in cartoons. everyone looked like they normally do if i know them, or how they reasonably might look if i don't, except pink, who was a stream of computer data. i'm not sure how to explain it any more clearly. she looked beautiful swirling and twisting and gliding across the ice, mobius-like, and no one seemed to think there was anything unusual about it at all.

Haha - "Don't tell me! Don't tell me! AND THEN I CAME ON YOUR ASS!"

Somewhat disappointingly, it was about being at school and everyone except you knows the timetable and you know you've been at school for ages and should really have it mastered by now... (the bit where my brother takes over)... then you somehow work out that you're supposed to be in Physics but you can't remember where in the school the Physics rooms are.

What's *really* weird is that we both dreamt the same school subject. I left school 16 years ago, these anxiety type dreams should really be set in the workplace by now.

I dreamt that nickalicious lived on the same floor as me and he was pissed off that the electricity had gone because it meant he couldn't finish the script to "The Shawshank Redemption 3" on time.

I just fell half asleep at my desk .. the kind of half asleep where you get the real fuckified hallucinations.

I saw the admin board as a space containing many bicycles, parked in a line. And there's only room for so many bicycles, so some have to be deleted occasionally. Most are green Schwinns.

I am having a dream about being in some toilets quite a lot lately. In the dream I am aware that I don't actually need the loo, but for some reason I need to find a working toilet cublicle. Anyway, I walk into this cavernous and dingy toilet block, which is really huge, like 3 tennis courts worth of floor space. I walk about looking for a decent loo, but there's always something wrong with them - no door, no seat, no paper, full of water and stuff, blocked, overflowing or occupied. Plus they have weird partitions, with really low walls, or not enough wall, or there's 2 toilets in one cubicle. The cubicles are all odd shapes and it looks a bit like a shanty town made entirely of toilet cubicles.

I have no idea what this means, but I keep having it.

The other night I dreamt I was in McDonalds. While seated at a table and sipping my milkshake, I noticed that all of the customers lined up at the registers were in various states of undress. One guy was totally naked. I went up to the cashier and asked her to pass along a message to her manager about disallowing naked people from the dining area. After triumphantly returning to my table, one of the hairy, naked, food ordering guys sat at my table and said "I BET YOU WOULDN'T MAKE SUCH A REQUEST IF IT WERE JUSTIN GUARINI WHO WAS UNCLOTHED!"

a few days ago: i was crossing camden road whilst on the phone to roxymuzak, and i was telling her "i'm crossing the road just now" and i had to run across because there was a bus approaching, except also a Suzuki Vitara was overtaking another bus and i didn't see until too late and it ran me over.

it drove right over me and i think crushed a few limbs. (in reality the bottom of the car wouldn't have cleared my body obv. and i'd have been flattened rather than merely seriously injured) ouch ouch.

This morning, I attended the worldwide FAP in London. Well, don't be sad that you missed it; there were only 15 of us there. ken c didn't even bother to show up. We met in a dark, hotel lobby. No one was really talking to anyone else. You all are so fucking shy. Someone claiming to be Teeny came in, but she didn't look anything like her pictures. Somehow she knew my name without me telling her (Moderator knows ALL!) and she gave me a real cold fish handshake. Then we spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out what to wear to the FAP, which had already started. Everything I put on was dirty.

I was a little pissed off that I travelled so far for such a lame event. Since I just flew in for the day, it started to seem like kind of a waste of time.

I dreamt I went on holiday to LA or somewhere and I was in a bar or restaurant with Ned and Remy and some other people, having a natter over beers and food... then next thing, I'm sitting on a back porch on a porch swing with Jer, just kind of hanging out barefoot in a really warm summer breeze afternoon, talking about all kind of shit. heh.

last night i dreamt that most of the Chicago crew came to visit me in Worcester. Nick, Sarah, Kenan, John, Jocelyn and then Oops. I lived in a big apartment and they all showed up and wanted to go out to eat. Kenan was insisting we find a bakery because he wanted cake. He just kept going on about baked goods. We all were outside and I decided i needed to change my t-shirt and I went back inside only to find Kenan and Jocelyn in a rather compromising position so to speak. After rushing outside we all heard Kenan yell out "baaaaaaaked gooooods". Whatever that was supposed to mean. So then Nick decided he wanted to rent a car to go to Sbarro's and he was really mean to the lady behind the counter...he called her a fat lesbian because they didn't have the car he wanted. Then Oops showed up and revealed his real name to be Walter Cariglia. Nick yelled at him too. Well we all made it to Sbarro's which was actually not Sbarro's but a cool club where Nick and Sarahs band played and John joined them. At this point Kenan probably found his baked goods. The end.

I had an ILX dream last night too, but it was kind of boring. I was just visiting someone (I think a London Ilxor but I can't remember who) in an impossibly huge house with high ceilings, and then I started crying for some reason and had a cup of tea.
