In my dream yesterday evening I was playing Scrabble with Koogs, Cathy and Caitlin. It was really odd. The dream ended when (for some reason, we had the scrabble board set up on the wall, and we place tiles by somehow fixing the letters on the board, without glue or anything) I messed up, and made all the tiles fall down!

The word I was trying to put on was "WAKE", I didn't realise the significance of the word until I woke up after that and remembered that I shouldn't have been sleeping at the time.

I was going to have the W on a triple letter too, had I not messed up. But it was all a dream anyway.

two weeks pass...

Last night I had one of those typical dreams where I was back in college and running around trying to figure out where my classes were and what was going on, but at one point I went into this little mini green house and Jeff-PTTL was there with a camera, taking pictures of the plants, including some huge tomatoes, and then he was talking to me and these two girls and going on and on and I was thinking that he was talking too much (perhaps I was subconsciously thinking of the name of his zine?). IRL, Jeff-PTTL doesn't talk too much. He talks just right.

shit i just remembered last night i had a dream there was some kind of ilxor convention in montreal and i was staying at the same hotel as Jordan. it was very plush with lots of red velvet drapes. and slocki was trying to convince Jordan to move there by showing him these real estate ads with pictures of these apartments with huge neo classical balconies over the top of nightclubs and they were really really cheap.

Just before waking up this morning, I dreamed I had invited all of ILX to something (Thanksgiving?) and Ned was the only one who didn't live close enough to come (everyone else was like fifteen minutes away or something), but I decided to send him an invitation anyway so he wouldn't feel left out.

You would not all fit in my apartment.

I was in some sort of educational setting but in between classes and there were a bunch of fellows standing around--one of them had a sweater/jumper with 'P4SHM1N4' stitched into it so I walked over and said norman! hello! it's teeny!

I had two ILX dreams in a row on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the second one erased almost any memory of the first - all I can remember is that I was hanging out with Casuistry at a baseball game.

The second was bizarrer and much more star-studded. I had travelled by train to see a non-league game near my house, but I'd gone too far and had to walk back on myself through the snow to get to the game. On the way, I came across a nice, cosy pub, so I went in for a drink.

However, attached to the pub was Porkpie Chris's house, which was tiny but crammed with flash kitchen appliances. It was a bit of a squash - Chris was there, as was Tom E, Carsmile, Pete and Emma. SGS was sitting in the corner gazing out onto the snowy street.

I tried to find a fridge to get a beer, but the only fridge was the size of a rubik's cube and contained one tiny can of pop. Meanwhile, Tom was showing Pete and Emma his Xmas present to them, which was a beautifully framed and inscribed photo of Tom himself in tasteful black and white.

Last night I went to bed with the nicotine patch on....hilarity ensued in my sleep.

I dreamt that I was putting on an ice skating exhibition in Toronto with Bryan, Huck and Sean...it was set to music and was beautiful...people cried...until Bryan vomited all over his tights.

i had a dream last night, about kenan. in my dream he was dating my sister's best friend, who is married and pregnant. anyhow we ended up re-enacting scenes from soylent green and then I woke up. CURIOUS!

In my dream, Sarah and I were on a plane, but we were going on seperate trips, she was going somewhere with her mom and I was going to NYC. I was staying with Phil-two so I went to his apartment. It was large and white. He told me that his apartment was too expensive and that he was going to move to northeastern Canada (like in the tundra) and was going to commute to NYC. He said that he got the money for his move by smuggling guns. Then he showed me an itemized bill comparing the cost of his current apartment to the cost of his new apartment. It turned out he was paying like $100,000 a month in rent and had to pay for all repairs. We were going to leave to go eat or something, but first I had to make a call. I looked in my bag to find the phone number and realized that Sarah had left her glasses in my bag. Then I found the number, I had to call my drug dealer and arrange to meet up with him later. My drug dealer was D'Angelo from The Wire (I've been watching too much of The Wire lately).

I mentioned this on another thread, but last night I dreamt that Jeremy, Nickalicious and I were WWII soldiers, the dream was like a 1940s film, and it ended with Remy and Nick making out passionately in black and white.

I had an ILX dream that we were all (most of ILX) in a restaurant together, and it had a lot of classic arcade games in the corner, and all the girs were getting mad because the guys were spending all their quarters on the video games, and we had our own ILX-themed jukebox and were playing songs to pass the time. I started tango-ing with people to Tom Waits songs, and I was dancing with jel and I kept trying to get Markleby to dance with me but he wouldn't, but it's probably a good thing because then I fell on jel and crushed his head. With my breasts. (This is quite embarrassing since I have never met jel and he seems like such the gentleman)

So I'm in some sort of gymnasium or something when I see Chris V walking around in a baseball uniform, looking very serious, and it dawns on me: He made the U.S. Olympic baseball team. And I'm at the Olympics. So I watch him and the team for a little while, and the next thing I know, I'm standing on first base, which Chris is defending. The base, however, as with all the bases on the field, is a large pizza. I'm not sure whether I should fully stand on it or not, in case it's being saved for later. At no time does it occur to me that this probably isn't actually the Olympics.

Especially because my morning newspaper arrives, and it's the ILX EDITION -- you know, how some major metropolitan areas have special regional editions for if you're in the suburbs or the city -- and the front page is all about the Olympics. And there's two separate articles about relatives of Chuck Eddy. In one, his mom is interviewed about how excited she is about the Olympics. Another is about his brother, who's like a referee or something.

Later, back at the baseball game, Teeny has set up her sleeping bag on the field, which has now shrunk to the size of a bedroom. Chris V has to tell her that she should probably move to the next room over, since there's a game going on and she'll get hit. (Although when she gets up she looks less like Teeny and more like Maria Tessa Sciarrino.)
