pretty amazingly no spoilers on the net as of yet

They've probably filmed six different endings.

All of which actually happened...

My personal theory is that the island is trying to kill Jacob.

Now I'm thinking the Shadow of the Statue people also have a nuclear bomb and the show will end with two detonations (which will cancel each other out--though we'll have to wait until 2010 to find that out.)

With the series end coming next year, many questions still remain. What will you look for during this 3-hour event?

Anyone else ever watch interviews with Carlton and Damon? They're actually pretty funny dudes, in a geeky way. Always enjoyable.

i don't think locke will die - his whole arc is tied to jack's as much as the island's. i hope it isn't ben either.

true, but they've gotta reveal something about what happened to him, and it might involve him still being dead. probably won't involve him going away and not being in S6, though.

killing off Sayid would suck. (controversial half-joking alert) non-whites getting such a bad deal on this show (esp. if Matt's right about island-born Miles too).

they better reveal a little more about WTF the others are and what jacob is if we're really supposed to care that he's now their leader and he's gonna kill him

If Rose and Bernard have seriously managed to survive for three years out on the island in 1977 with both the Dharma dudes and the Hostiles at war with one another they must be pretty hardcore and I will never laugh at them again.

last we saw of them it was still the 50s and they were running from the flaming arrows right?

i had this idea that they stayed in the 50s, died together and were 'Adam and Eve' but perhaps they returned to now when Locke fixed the wheel?

I am still convinced that the major character death they were talking about was Faraday. Have I missed reputable stuff that says that the big death is coming in the finale?

There was something in one of the podcasts at the start of the season which confirmed it was an 815-er, apparently.

I think I could take a Sayid death if it means an awesome face-off with Ben full of bitter recriminations and anger and ends with Ben pumping several bullets into his chest in cold blood.

the way Daniel died seemed really stupid at the time, too. the worst part about watching that episode online was seeing how much time was left in the episode when he got shot, and thinking "either this is a really long death scene or they're going to throw some awesome twist/reveal in at the last minute...now, it's just a slow stupid death scene."

in the scene's defence, being shot by your mum who is also carrying unborn you is pretty awesome

but as annoying as i found dan's voice it's a totally not cool way for him to exit (and esp. weird after having been missing from the preceding 3 or 4 episodes), so from the second he was shot i just figured he will return somehow.

I was watching that episode with closed captioning on (had lots of friends over.. we're loud) and Widmore tells Ellie she shouldn't bring them to Jughead "in {her} condition"
