Who is the worst actress to have been consistently nominated for an Oscar?

I was really expecting to vote Julia Roberts, but Zellweger sucks so much that now I have to consider all my options.

Julia Roberts is awful. I think Diane Keaton sucks really bad. Irvin Welsh uses the name "Judi Dench" as a synonym for farting in his books which I think is appropriate.

I'm with Kael -- too often she creates an excellent impersonation of a human being (exceptions: A Cry in the Dark, Madison County, Adaptation, Prada).

Julia Roberts, rack notwithstanding. Zellweger close second...and I have no idea who I would give the bronze medal of shittiness to.

Winslet, Frances McDormand, Holly Hunter and Helen Mirren are all untouchable here.

I feel Winslet's being a tad overrated here. She's got talent, but not the presense or charisma of a true great.

I really don't understand all the Renee Zellweger hate, I thought she was quite good in movies like Nurse Betty, Chicago, or Down with Love. Most of the negative comments about her I've read on ILE seem to focus on the fact that she has a weird face. What the kind of a critique is that?!
