YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO THE UNION OF NICK & TOM

THERE WILL BE A MOUNTAIN DEW FOUNTAIN AND DANCING

Plus, it was a free complimentary cup and I didn't have (money) to pay $1.50 for a bottle of Aquafina.

MD Pitch Black II (black, "grape," sour version of Pitch Black)

I am intrigued! Anyone know if this available in Canada?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Friday, 9 September 2005 19:35 (eighteen years ago) link

You should've offered to french the bodega man, I mean that usually works to get a free beverage.

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Friday, 9 September 2005 19:36 (eighteen years ago) link

TAB is so dull.
Why don't other beverages come out with weird random assortments of made-up flavors?
I still haven't tried Sprite Remix Aruba Jam. The original Sprite Remix was pretty worthless.

TOMBOT, Friday, 9 September 2005 19:36 (eighteen years ago) link

I don't even like Mountain Dew! I just think Tom's sticktoittiveness is admirable.

He sets a goal, and then he ACCOMPLISHES THAT GOAL.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 9 September 2005 19:36 (eighteen years ago) link

Why don't you just buy a bottle of Karo and drink that.

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Friday, 9 September 2005 19:37 (eighteen years ago) link

I have also drank all the Frescas and all of the Squirts. Grapefruit flavored sodas get a bad rap.

Now I'll drink to that!

Ian Riese-Moraine: Let this bastard out, and you'll get whiplash! (Eastern Mantr, Friday, 9 September 2005 19:37 (eighteen years ago) link

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 9 September 2005 19:38 (eighteen years ago) link

Recipe for drink:

Bottle of Karo Corn Syrup
Whatever you feel like adding in to flavor with (examples: cherries, lychees, mandarin oranges, wasabi)
Coffee (for caffiene)

Mix in blender and drink. Any flavor you want!

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Friday, 9 September 2005 19:38 (eighteen years ago) link

i miss Pitch Black. i can only find "Livewire". WTF, if i want fizzy orange drink, i'm drink Orange Crush.

I want to try VANILLA SODA FOUNTAIN DR. PEPPER

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:16 (eighteen years ago) link

Count me in as a decidely Pro-"Code Red" Dew-niac. I don't know that I can justify it; it tastes like straight grenadine and makes your teeth squeaky afterwards.

Who Are You, Buster Gonad? (Bent Over at the Arclight), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:17 (eighteen years ago) link

Oh wait, Cherry vanilla sfdr.p

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:17 (eighteen years ago) link

So I've drank literally one sip of Mounting Do, like, since Luk4s was born. Which was in 1999. I had the worst case of cottonmouth of all time, it was like my cottonmouth had cottonmouth. That one drink gave me the most wickedest of headaches.

I AM NOT EXTREME...PROVEN BY SCIENCE.

nklshs @ other desk omg, Friday, 9 September 2005 20:18 (eighteen years ago) link

Spencer is right, though, Coke Zero is clearly the best thing to happen to soda in decades. I can't wait for them to put it in soda fountains at the movies and at restaurants!

Who Are You, Buster Gonad? (Bent Over at the Arclight), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:18 (eighteen years ago) link

Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper's disappointing to me.

Ian Riese-Moraine: Let this bastard out, and you'll get whiplash! (Eastern Mantr, Friday, 9 September 2005 20:23 (eighteen years ago) link

I do recall Code Red being heavily advertised on TV and radio by Busta Rhymes, but I don't know that that was so successful in getting "urban" people to drink it as much as it made me laugh, and also to drink it.

I'd bet Jimmy Hart loves The Dew.

From Snopes:

However, the uncola wasn't known as 7Up for the first few years of its existence. It was originally christened "Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda."
