'Lost' Star Sued for Sexual Harassment

Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond on the show "Lost," is being sued for sexual harassment.

According to a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Chelsea Stone claims that while working on the show, Cusick placed his hand on her buttocks and caressed the back of her body while making moaning sounds.

She also claims Cusick "placed his face on top of her breasts, moving his face from side to side." He then squeezed her breasts with his hands.

According to the lawsuit, approximately twelve days after this went down, Stone was let go. ABC and Grass Skirt Productions are also named as defendants. She is seeking unspecified damages.

Cusick's rep had no comment.

Dunno, there are still loads of Others left in 2007 aren't there? The ones that Locke was supposed to lead and before he suddenly vanished. They only really killed off the hard dudes. We still know less about the Others than anything else on the show and it doesn't look they're in much of a hurry to tell us what their deal is before next series.

Meh to the Monster now. It's good when it's smashing things up but everything they hint at on top of that is a bit lame. They won't explain that until next year either. It needs to spend more time wreaking carnage and less time going "Egyptian gods, ghosts, woooo".

yeah lostpedia has a pretty strict spoiler policy and never mentions whose centric episode it is more than a week before it airs. we'll see, some of the other forums seem to think that it's gonna be a locke episode.

Stone says that ABC and production company Grass Skirt Entertainment, which are also named as defendants, did nothing to keep her away from Cusick after she complained and, over the next several days, the actor and fellow employees became "very hostile" toward her.

On Oct. 28, 2007, Stone was informed that she had been fired, the lawsuit states.

Per the suit, "plaintiff suffered humiliation and severe mental and emotional distress, and suffered injury when by means of her stress Plaintiff miscarried," causing Stone to incur various medical expenses and suffer 'physical injuries, physical sickness, substantial losses in earnings" and other indignities.

really enjoyed this one, especially Daniel laying it all out there with the casuality loop

Except the past is the present. Even though I know that the whole time, I still get confused at times.

Just think about that chalkboard drawing in Back to the Future and you'll be fine.

of course they are TOTALLY going to succeed, it will cause the so-called incident and blow the main characters back to the present. fate!

(much like Desmond trying to buck fate at the end of S2 by NOT pushing the button and causing the hatch to blow up. symmetry!)

1. the others have a cure for gun wounds to the chest. will they use it?
2. detonating the bomb is a really stupid idea. it would presumably kill ALL of the people on the island, which would be worse than anything that's happened to them. not even going into the paradoxes involved.

i thought detonating the bomb means they DON'T cause the incident?

that's Faraday's logic, but going by the show's track record of people trying to do the "right thing" and having it accomplish exactly what they didn't want to happen...

exactly. which means they'll try but won't succeed at detonating the bomb, but in trying they'll cause the huge release of energy at the Swan site (ie the incident) and thus not negating seasons 1-4.

not a great ep but got better as it went along. radzinski really is a fucking annoying jerk. somebody needs to knife him while he's in the middle of his WoW marathon.

also have to lol at Lost's vision of Britain, where everybody (except Charlie's "Meet the Sean Beans" family) is a relative of Queen Victoria and speaks in Hank Kingsley's "British" accent.

They really need an Irish character for season 6.

xpost Roz - but it's more cruelly ironic for them to actually detonate the bomb AND have it screw themselves over, since then they're more directly causing their fate! (unless they want to carry the bomb over into season 6, which i doubt they will do)

The Radzinski thing is pretty funny since we already know he's going to kill himself after pushing the Hatch button for years, so the more evil he is, it's just gravy

they said that not pushing the button caused 815 to crash - but wouldn't that have blown up the hatch before they ever found it/des? or when they crashed, did they also go back in time to when the hatch was still there?

what I don't get is how the "possibility" of none of seasons 1-4 ever happening is a possibility. like how does that even work, they suddenly wake up and are getting off the flight in la

xxp - yeah i don't think it can but if it does, it'll be interesting to see how the writers will try to convince us that it is possible. the only way it will happen is by paradox or introducing an alternate universe theory.

tehresa, 815 crashed the day Des *almost* didn't get to push the button because he was out chasing Kelvin, that's what they meant by failing to push the button.

they ruled out alternate/parallel universes thankfully

they also said that we weren't going to see dharma or paradoxes. :/
