Last night I had a very real dream that Estela and I were doing some arts and crafts activity in a church, gluing things to other things. She looked a lot like Annabella Lwin. I had to use the restroom so I went out in the hall to look for it. There were four or five different ones, most of which looked like cruising spots of the future (steam, neon lights, muscular dudes). I finally found a normally looking women's restroom but it said something like "Aurgabalus Wilte" above the door. I ran back to Estela and said, "In Australia, is the ladies' room called 'Aurgabalus Wilte'?" She laughed and gave me a piggyback ride to the actual women's restroom (which was called something like "Maurtouly Gaybe").

Last night I dreamt it was coming up to my birthday and that Dom had started an ILX thread to get requests for a playlist to put together to play throughout my birthday party. Someone requested songs from the Lion King soundtrack and loads of people liked the idea, but when none of the songs made it to the final playlist everyone started arguing and fighting, so I left the thread and sulked about how my birthday party was going to be ruined. Jerks.

Last night Trayce & Electric Sound of Jim were in my dream. I think we were staying in a big building with a bunch of other people, but we all slept on cots and stuff, we didn't have our own rooms. I asked Trayce if she knew this record by Aussie band Deckchairs Overboard that I posted to my blog awhile ago. She said she had the record but couldn't get to it right now or something. Then I went downstairs and asked ESOJ some kind of question about music and he blew me off at first, then I went back later and this time he was nice and talked with me a little.

Recently dreamt I was jetting round the cosmos in a little bubbleship like Spaceman Spiff's except green, and I got a message of a secret mission to assassinate some space prince studying at a nearby boarding school planet. I beamed down to find he was being guarded by the headmaster and a sports trainer dude, so I was chatting away in an unconvincing pretence of being a school inspector, except after a while I realised the sports trainer dude was Tombot doing some other secret agent business, so I was trying to determine if we were working in the same direction or not, and then we were both FOUND OUT and we were going to kidnap the prince and escape before dawn, and then I woke up

Had a dream that Pleasant Plains and Sunny were visiting me in Kalamazoo (where I went to college). Don't remember much except that I remarked that Sunny had almost entirely lost her Australian accent.

Alfred Lord Sotosyn came to Providence for a visit and stayed with my boyfriend and me. We all walked around, talked about the city, discussed music, introduced Alfred to our neighbors, stopped into local shops (which do not actually exist) and made plans on where we would go to brunch. It was a pretty mundane dream, but really it was extremely pleasant!

my new gf needs something to drink and is for some reason incapacitated, so i have to walk to the college campus across the street looking for a vending machine. i end up walking into a computer lab where there is some kind of spinach party going on and i notice that a girl in the lab is on ilx. say hi i um also post on ilx. "oh, you post on ilxor.com too? what is your display name?"

This morning I dreamed that my somewhat troublesome long-distance love interest took me to a party where I didn't know anyone, and then left me in a crowd and disappeared and I had to fend for myself in a large house full of strange people. And then it turned out everyone was staying overnight but I hadn't brought any blankets and I didn't know where to sleep and I still couldn't find my boyfriend. Somewhere in the middle of trying not to have a break-down, I woke up. Today of course I am about this <-> close to tears at any given moment thanks to dreaming of abandonment.

I had a dream where I looked at the clock next to the bed and it said, like ...

Last night I dreamt I was at a big outdoors rainy techno festival, walking over plastic footpaths laid on the sodden grass, with melbourngrels esoj, haitch and Trayce. We were all staying at a hotel on site too.

I dreamed like a week or so ago that Surmounter was teaching me to juggle and I was really really good at it, but it was veiled no-so-good-like that he hated me. So like, why u trying to teach me to juggle?

I was dreaming last night about moving into a flat that obscure Irish group the Holy Roman Army had lived in. It was vacant now because they had died in a gruesome car crash. I was very sad about them dying, but did not mind moving into their house.

I have never actually heard any music by the Holy Roman Army, so it was strange how sad I was that they were dead.

Was on holiday in London with mrs merklich, we rented the lex's apartment last night; convenient since he would be elsewhere. There was plenty of trouble as to where the actual keys were (we had do find hidden doors, secret passages etc), but this was not the lex's fault in any way, nor ours, it was just sort of a puzzle we had to solve before being allowed to go sleep.

Last night I dreamt that me & latembloomer were going to see MJ's Neverland, which had been made into a museum. We had brought along some guy who had bleached hair, BMX clothes, and who kept putting things over his head to try and suffocate himself. He was also screaming really loudly at random intervals.

Lately:

* Watched "Ghost World" last night. Woke up this morning after having a dream that a friend of mine had actually played the Buscemi part. Remember thinking, "How weird is it that ___________________ was in a movie with Scarlett Johanson?"

* Visiting someone in St. Louis and they have a Like soda machine in their basement. Friend gives me a can and it's one of those weird 8 oz squatty cans. "Remember how small the cans were?" he asks. "No, I don't remember them being like this at all," I reply.

Most of my dreams lately have been little vignettes like this, probably because I get a roundhouse boot to the head every five minutes from the midget sleeping next to me.

I had a dream that a bunch of ILXors staged an intervention for me as I was being "bitchier than usual". There was one specific person I remember but I won't call him out lest that be a bit creepy.

I was visiting a friend's co-op warehouse loft space (actually in providence, transplanted in the dream to new york city), hanging out in the kitchen area mixing several different colors of cake batter together to make a rainbow cake. i had eaten mushrooms (in the dream) and was hallucinating vividly. (i have never taken dream drugs before; it was bizarre, even for a dream.) this small attractive asian woman shows up, and when i ask, she says she's visiting her boyfriend. immediately, one of the bedroom doors opens to reveal cutty, who is her boyfriend. i wink at him and then run outside and down into the subway, still hallucinating and aimlessly take one train after another, thinking "i am riding on the current of the public transport system"

last night i dreamt that ENBB was in some kind of reality show similar to top model. but instead of being like top model it was more like they were on the tyra show. except the set was a stage w/ a pool, and all the model contestants were sitting on these floating chairs in the pool with their spouses. RS laughed and laughed. I was swimming in the pool and there was something about filling up cups with water to vote for your favorite. then it was revealed that the prize for the competition was dancing in a mandy moore video.

Did I win??

early this morning, i dreamt that i suggest banned my cat for pissing on the carpet, and regretted it almost immediately.

Challops were in my dream last night, although they were in a newspaper headline ("CHALLOPS!") predating ilx itself. The dream fragment that I remember was about Mark E. Smith's college years at MIT. My dad remembered him as "some kind of a pervert".

Last night I dreamt Dan Perry and I went bowling. Midway through someone came in and told him his grandma had really fucked things up by just changing the admissions standards for public colleges in Minnesota. They grumbled about it for a long time and I didn't really understand, it was all about people & places I didn't know. I went to go get us beers, not knowing how else to fill the time, and at the register was a People magazine w/him and his grandma on the front. "DAN PERRY MAD AT GRANDMA," the headline said. I came back w/cans for everyone and told Dan he was on the cover of People magazine. "I didn't know you were famous enough to be on the cover of a People magazine!" I said. "Yeah, well there's a LOT you don't know about me," he said.
