i spied upon drew daniel in a scarlet frock coat and an immense curly brown wig frantically scratching with a quill onto parchment by candlelight. he wore a monacle, i think, and a little velvet cap with a single white plume in it.

True. I wasn't sure whether "ILX dreams" exclusively meant dreams about other ilxors as opposed to dreams had by ilxors. Which is also weird because I know I posted once about a dream about J0n W1lliams but I don't see it here.

Whoah! I am so honored. Actually, as it happens, three days ago there was a power outage on our street and I sat at our dining room table reading Shakespeare by candlelight. I wasn't using a quill, but in other respects, it was kind of weirdly similar to your dream. Maybe you were remote viewing?

Last night I had a lengthy and elaborate dream in which Latebloomer and I had to present a two-page poem (later, it was just a paper) about John Lennon to a college class. I lost my notes, and LB gave me his, which were a jumbled mess. I struggled to remember my opening line, and the professor says "talk about how he's a Marxist!" I said "you're making a joke!" The class turned into a battleground with people climbing up to the ceiling and hanging off to escape the carnage, and I ate a piece of fried chicken out of a stryrofoam container.

and to think, people think Paul McCartney was the superior of the two. . .

i had a dream someone was telling me about how forksclovetofu, who didn't actually appear in the dream, had heroically saved some dogs from mistreatment, the person who was talking (it was an ilxor but i don't know who) said, 'he is passionate about dogs' rights'.

I had a really long dream featuring Abbott. There was a lot of weird stuff going on, but the nagging bit was that somehow, in the dream, Abbott used to play a character on The Office, a woman named Fern. This led to some strange morning half-dreaming time where I was trying very hard (and failing) to figure out whether that was a true fact about Abbott, or just something happening in the dream.

I was at some ridiculous convention or trade-show for Nike Dunk aficionados. I wandered away from the convention hall and met nabisco in a dark warehouse-sized arcade that had an all-you-can-eat nacho buffet. I remember being surprised that he was there.

As I ran onto the high street, I saw LJ standing on a corner, wearing cricket whites and pads, with a huge beer gut, holding a cricket bat. He gestured with the bat and said something like "tally ho!", but I just said "whatever!" and kept on running.

Last night I had a very real dream that Estela and I were doing some arts and crafts activity in a church, gluing things to other things. She looked a lot like Annabella Lwin. I had to use the restroom so I went out in the hall to look for it. There were four or five different ones, most of which looked like cruising spots of the future (steam, neon lights, muscular dudes). I finally found a normally looking women's restroom but it said something like "Aurgabalus Wilte" above the door. I ran back to Estela and said, "In Australia, is the ladies' room called 'Aurgabalus Wilte'?" She laughed and gave me a piggyback ride to the actual women's restroom (which was called something like "Maurtouly Gaybe").

Last night I dreamt it was coming up to my birthday and that Dom had started an ILX thread to get requests for a playlist to put together to play throughout my birthday party. Someone requested songs from the Lion King soundtrack and loads of people liked the idea, but when none of the songs made it to the final playlist everyone started arguing and fighting, so I left the thread and sulked about how my birthday party was going to be ruined. Jerks.

Last night Trayce & Electric Sound of Jim were in my dream. I think we were staying in a big building with a bunch of other people, but we all slept on cots and stuff, we didn't have our own rooms. I asked Trayce if she knew this record by Aussie band Deckchairs Overboard that I posted to my blog awhile ago. She said she had the record but couldn't get to it right now or something. Then I went downstairs and asked ESOJ some kind of question about music and he blew me off at first, then I went back later and this time he was nice and talked with me a little.

Recently dreamt I was jetting round the cosmos in a little bubbleship like Spaceman Spiff's except green, and I got a message of a secret mission to assassinate some space prince studying at a nearby boarding school planet. I beamed down to find he was being guarded by the headmaster and a sports trainer dude, so I was chatting away in an unconvincing pretence of being a school inspector, except after a while I realised the sports trainer dude was Tombot doing some other secret agent business, so I was trying to determine if we were working in the same direction or not, and then we were both FOUND OUT and we were going to kidnap the prince and escape before dawn, and then I woke up

Had a dream that Pleasant Plains and Sunny were visiting me in Kalamazoo (where I went to college). Don't remember much except that I remarked that Sunny had almost entirely lost her Australian accent.

Alfred Lord Sotosyn came to Providence for a visit and stayed with my boyfriend and me. We all walked around, talked about the city, discussed music, introduced Alfred to our neighbors, stopped into local shops (which do not actually exist) and made plans on where we would go to brunch. It was a pretty mundane dream, but really it was extremely pleasant!

my new gf needs something to drink and is for some reason incapacitated, so i have to walk to the college campus across the street looking for a vending machine. i end up walking into a computer lab where there is some kind of spinach party going on and i notice that a girl in the lab is on ilx. say hi i um also post on ilx. "oh, you post on ilxor.com too? what is your display name?"

This morning I dreamed that my somewhat troublesome long-distance love interest took me to a party where I didn't know anyone, and then left me in a crowd and disappeared and I had to fend for myself in a large house full of strange people. And then it turned out everyone was staying overnight but I hadn't brought any blankets and I didn't know where to sleep and I still couldn't find my boyfriend. Somewhere in the middle of trying not to have a break-down, I woke up. Today of course I am about this <-> close to tears at any given moment thanks to dreaming of abandonment.

I had a dream where I looked at the clock next to the bed and it said, like ...
