xpost I can't find the exact story now (it's been obscured by the new story of her tweeting the pic and calling her younger self 'chunky'), but she used to tell it in interviews. IIRC, she was 13 and a family relation of hers was working a Police show on the Synchronicity tour (at an LA/Orange County race track/fairgrounds), bringing her along because she was a big fan, and she actually got to meet the band and get autographs. She would go on to talk about how charming Sting was, even to "an awkward, chubby teenage nobody like me" (or something to that effect).
