The Comanche could ride faster and farther than almost anyone.[citation needed] They could do tricks on horseback that no one else could do.[citation needed] They would slide to the back or the side of the horse.[citation needed] The Spanish tried to move into Comanche territory but they could not defeat the Comanche.[citation needed] The Comanche attacked settlers, stole horses, cattle, women and children.[citation needed] They were not peaceful neighbors. Early Texans defeated the Comanche by tricking them with a white flag.[citation needed] The Comanche were forced to live on reservations[citation needed]

Critics such as Matthew Arnold endeavoured to rewrite Shelley's legacy to make him seem a lyricist and a dilettante who had no serious intellectual position and whose longer poems were not worth study. Matthew Arnold famously described Shelley as a "beautiful and ineffectual angel". This position contrasted strongly with the judgement of the previous generation who knew Shelley as a sceptic and radical. Meow

A video was made to help promote the single. It featured clips of the band playing the song live on a large, well-lit stage, interspersed with shots of a young blonde woman. Portrayed by Playboy playmate Eloise Broady, the model is visibly distressed over relationship troubles with Stanley. She vents her frustrations by throwing a wine bottle at a picture of the two of them, and sets Stanley's car on fire after dousing it with gasoline.

His personal impact, however, was twofold: his image as a warm, gentle, kind man captivated the world. This image was immediately formed when he was presented to the crowd in St. Peter's Square following his election. The warmth of his presence made him a much-loved figure before he even spoke a word. The media in particular fell under his spell. He was a skilled orator. Whereas Pope Paul VI spoke as if delivering a doctoral thesis, John Paul I produced warmth, laughter, a 'feel-good factor,' and plenty of media-friendly sound bites. [citation needed]

Contemporaries paint a portrait of an isolated person (he never married and had few intimate friends) with grandiose manners, prone to public outbursts of tears, and a fierce temper that sometimes degenerated into fist-fights. He had unusual phobias —including a fear of electricity. As he grew older, his eccentricities intensified, he became increasingly incoherent, and by 1895 he was declared insane. One of his more notable eccentricities was the founding of a hot food delivery company to prospectors in the Klondike Gold Fields. The difficult logistics of this service scared away investors and ultimately provided its downfall.

From the entry for Golden Earring:

"When the Lady Smiles" became an international hit in 1984, reaching No. 3 in Canada and becoming the band's fifth number one hit in their native country, but received a disappointing reaction in the United States. The reason for this lack of success was that the music video of the song was banned from MTV, because of nudity and a scene portraying the rape of a nun

(in the entry for author Richard Grayson)

Crime-fighting Career

Shortly after his brief tenure at Arizona State, Richard began work in a juvenile services system. He got beaten up by a number of the inmates, and he was later transfered to a Catholic orphanage. Bruce Wayne rescued Richard by hiring him as his butler. Frustrated by the lack of activism from his new guardian and the mystery still surrounding Mark Twain's killer, Richard sneaked out of Wayne Manor one evening to solve the crime on his own - only to stumble into Batman, who was also investigating the murder. When Richard returned to the circus, he was confronted by Alan Gribben's business associate, Eddie Skeevers, who nearly killed Grayson, but Richard was saved thanks to Batman's intervention. After waking up in the Batcave, he is shocked to learn that Bruce is really the Batman. They succeed in revealing Gribben's complicity, but he supposedly dies of a heart attack before his arrest. Seeing a reflection of himself in Richard; that he could temper compassion with a thirst for justice, Batman made the young man the offer of a lifetime; the chance to become his crime-fighting partner. Richard chose the name Robin, and his training began. Richard's first mission alongside the Dark Knight involved battling The Hangman in Gotham's sewers, and then Two-Face and the rest of Batman's Rogues Gallery at the Batcave. They swore an oath late that night that they would fight together against crime and corruption, never swerving from the path of righteousness. Batman had realized for the first time that he did not have to be alone in his crusade.

He gave up crime-fighting in 2003 to continue his writing career.

Tsui's daughter (Loletta Lee), who dresses like a man and wears chastity belt for the main part of the film, and the righteous Iron Man (Ben Ng) try to stop Mirage Woman before it's too late, which means that she'll have free rein to "suck" anyone she wishes.
