I too haven't met any ILXors in person, either. And I'm hoping certain circumstances change because unless they do, I won't be able to do that for a long time to come. I will, though. Eventually.

I haven't, but the last two times I had dinner on Haight street I saw M. White smoking on the street in front of Mad Dog In The Fog while I was eating Indian across the stree. It was like seeing someone come to life from the Great Gatsby, he really does look like someone from the 20's.

I suppose it depends on what your definition of "is" is. No. Wait. make that your definition of "met".

I was in the same room as Casuistry once, as he gave a public poetry reading. In fact, he aspired to bring and read a poem for every attendee of that reading, so that at one point he actually read 'my' poem to me, not knowing who I was. Afterward he was so thronged by admirers and well-wishers, that I eventually slipped away without introducing myself to him. Did I meet him or not? I would say no. You may disagree.

I met a bunch of DC-area ilxors when I was down there auditioning for "Jeopardy" a couple years ago, but that's it. Was going to go to NYC last year for the NYC Century bike ride but had to cancel. If I can make it this year, hope to set up a FAP.
