ghost rider, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 16:32 (seventeen years ago) link

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:19 (seventeen years ago) link

IT'S TIME FOR THE CIRULATOR

I DIED, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:19 (seventeen years ago) link

a sucky go-around bus, ok

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:21 (seventeen years ago) link

hahahaha I DIED, that has been going through my head ever since I read the circulator post

horseshoe, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:22 (seventeen years ago) link

man, DC busdrivers have been going kind of all out lately.

I DIED, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:22 (seventeen years ago) link

Depending on how the phrase "sucky go-around bus" is parsed, I might really enjoy riding that bus.

John Justen, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:23 (seventeen years ago) link

Also, how do I sneak DOGTITS into the gun control thread w/o losing my credibility?

John Justen, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:24 (seventeen years ago) link

that thread lacks all credibility

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:25 (seventeen years ago) link

JOHN JUSTEN DON'T DO IT

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:33 (seventeen years ago) link

"grill tit" should give at least a 1/2 point to Tom, well played.

John Justen, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:33 (seventeen years ago) link

lns = crepey "invite-only" DC toolbox social network, source of occasional lolz

pretzel walrus, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:33 (seventeen years ago) link

hey i went to look.. they just extracted it from the building. i don't know what those things are made of but i could hardly see much damage on the rear of the bus

daria-g, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:34 (seventeen years ago) link

LNS is myspace for girls with strong jawlines and boys with loafers.

beitrop

Ed, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:35 (seventeen years ago) link

buildings are usually made out of bricks or wood or metal, i think?

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:35 (seventeen years ago) link

was there a guy with a bullhorn or some other kind of public address gear repeating THE CIRCULATOR HAS BEEN EXTRACTED to everyone

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:36 (seventeen years ago) link

THE CIRCULATOR WILL CIRCULATE ONCE MORE

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:37 (seventeen years ago) link

man i remember one time i missed the circulator, so i got on the next one (5 minutes later) and proceeded to get off like mmmmmmmmmmmmaybe 8 blocks later and decided to walk to gtown from downtown because i had been on it for like a half hour at this point! in the meanwhile of walking, i not only caught up with the circulator i missed, but the two BEFORE that one as well.

circulator, you sir can go to hell.

ghost rider, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:39 (seventeen years ago) link

OK, Americans, explain this to me: Why has Fox news hired a cocktail lounge pianist to play over its news bulletins?

Ed, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:40 (seventeen years ago) link

dude that cat

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:40 (seventeen years ago) link

And the string section from an elevator it seems?

Ed, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:41 (seventeen years ago) link

that cat rules!

xpost - not the building, the bus! i'm pretty sure it took a chunk out of the brick wall and the bus was fine

i heard driver was actually over at the holiday inn having lunch or something and.. uh.. you might want to check those brakes. yeah

daria-g, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:41 (seventeen years ago) link

if the circulator was filled with cats i'd ride it daily

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:43 (seventeen years ago) link

love that cat

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:43 (seventeen years ago) link

btw, my friend noelle called another friend of hers "cats" yesterday.

like, "oh sarah, yeah, she's a little cats."

i guess it means that she's retreating into early spinster-hood and spends way too much time at home with her cats.

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:44 (seventeen years ago) link

also lol at skechers

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:44 (seventeen years ago) link

the temp keeps filling out a time sheet with creative accounting, putting hours the temp "worked" two weeks ago and i can't remember if the temp worked those hours or not so i told temp last week, do not do this anymore, fill out your timesheet correctly, don't forget or let it slip your mind, and temp did it AGAIN, so i did not sign it, screw you temp.

Mr. Que, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:46 (seventeen years ago) link

how do you know she is being creative if you cannot remember?

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:48 (seventeen years ago) link

i don't but why should i sign a time sheet for this week with "hours" worked from three weeks ago?

Mr. Que, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:49 (seventeen years ago) link

what the fuck is that? how do you do that?

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:50 (seventeen years ago) link

he fills it in by hand, it's an old fashioned "fill out the time sheet with a pen" kind of deal.

Mr. Que, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:51 (seventeen years ago) link

no but why is there a slot for hours worked on dates three weeks ago

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:55 (seventeen years ago) link

that is what i am not understanding about this

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:56 (seventeen years ago) link

in my world timecards only have room for actual hours worked on the given dates for the pay period, you can't put shit from other dates in there just arbitrarily unless you're REALLY dicking around

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:56 (seventeen years ago) link

yeah, how do you know they're filling in old hours? SRSLY, DUDE, START MAKING SENSE

river wolf, Wednesday, 18 April 2007 17:57 (seventeen years ago) link
