(sorry j/k horseshoe that is the LAST time i will say DOGTITS today. In fact, I will never ever write the word DOGTITS again.)

Mr. Que, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:36 (seventeen years ago) link

I am shaking my fist in DC's direction.

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:37 (seventeen years ago) link

chicago kevin, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:37 (seventeen years ago) link

jack black is immensely hatable.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:37 (seventeen years ago) link

no that scene was funny! i dig jack black but i can see where people would hate him

Mr. Que, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:37 (seventeen years ago) link

"School of Rock" was awesome, though.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:38 (seventeen years ago) link

I kind of can't help liking Jack Black, but hating him is totally understandable. he is always, always coked out whenever he appears on talk shows, btw.

I DIED's guide to selected will ferrell movies:

Anchorman > Zoolander > Wedding Crashers > Old School > Blades Of Glory > Talladega Nights > Night at the Roxbury > Elf

note: I liked all these movies

I DIED, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:39 (seventeen years ago) link

i'm not a big school of rock person, mainly because
a) i hate children
b) i hate jack black
c) quite frankly i also hate music

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:39 (seventeen years ago) link

i was ok with nacho libre but i was on an 8 hour flight when i saw that and my other options were some horrible thing with jennifer aniston in it and THE DAVINCI CODE so....

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:40 (seventeen years ago) link

i think that wedding crashers should not be listed as a will ferrel movie, he's barely in it and he's the worst thing about the film.

lol

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:41 (seventeen years ago) link

Jack black and Will Farrell: I love them both, but I am regularly disappointed when their stock shtick drags on and I'm like, wait a minute, which movie is this.

Also, it appears that DOGTITS is the new POPPAGE

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:41 (seventeen years ago) link

ok wtf at that commercial

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:42 (seventeen years ago) link

god, remember the day of that POPPAGE was coined? that was a dark motherfucking day.

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:42 (seventeen years ago) link

god, remember the day of that POPPAGE was coined? that was a dark motherfucking day.

Yeah, it was [url=[Removed Illegal Link] before my birthday[/i], ugh.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:43 (seventeen years ago) link

Elf > Old School > Talladega Nights > Anchorman > Wedding Crashers > Zoolander

Haven't seen any others.

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:44 (seventeen years ago) link

WEDDING CRASHERS IS NOT A WILL FERREL MOVIE GODDAMNIT!

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:44 (seventeen years ago) link

A WINNER IS ME

right before my birthday, ugh

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:44 (seventeen years ago) link

is your birthday January 18th, Dan? mine is the 19th!

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:45 (seventeen years ago) link

I realize that WF and JB are parodying various kinds of stupidity a lot of the time, but that kind(s) of stupidity is too scary/repellent to me. I get actually really uncomfortable with it sometimes, because I'm not sure it's ENOUGH of a parody, y'know? The kind of world portrayed in their movies is one I could not possib live in, I wd stab someone WITHOUT QUESTION and yet criticism & sensible thought seem to roll right off all those guys like they're invulnerable. IT MAKES ME CRAZY.

Laurel, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:45 (seventeen years ago) link

oh and it is Talladega Nights > Zoolander (these two are basically tied actually) > Elf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ANCHORMAN

i haven't seen the others and refuse to include wedding crashers in this because it is a great movie and he is the worst thing about it, the 5 minutes he is in it ;_;

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:45 (seventeen years ago) link

Although this almost makes up for it: "hello you are very poppagey i would like to court you in the vagina"

SNAP: It is! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:46 (seventeen years ago) link

Where does Starsky and Hutch fit into the Will Ferrel Movie Spectrum?

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:46 (seventeen years ago) link

is he even in that movie?

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:47 (seventeen years ago) link

I mean like on some level I start getting panickked by it.

Catsupppppppppppppp dude ‫茄蕃‪, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:48 (seventeen years ago) link

maybe i should just rank all movies that include any combination of at least two of owen wilson OR vince vaughn OR will ferrel OR ben stiller OR ben stiller's wife and it'd just be easier to figure out.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:48 (seventeen years ago) link

thanks, Dan!

yeah, I get that, Laurel. sexism is the outright theme of Anchorman, which makes these issues a little clearer.

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:49 (seventeen years ago) link

Also, The Producers remake was a big gigantic bag of shit, but Will was funnier in that than in Wedding Crashers. Plus Uma's gams & knockers= awesome.

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:49 (seventeen years ago) link

do Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor seem to sort of hate each other to you? /bitchy

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:49 (seventeen years ago) link

will ferrel is in the producers?!?!

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:52 (seventeen years ago) link

oh man you know what movie is pretty good is dodgeball, guys.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:52 (seventeen years ago) link

I DON'T GET THAT MOVIE.

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:53 (seventeen years ago) link

will ferrel is the nazi guy who writes Springtime for Hitler, yes.

jessie monster, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:53 (seventeen years ago) link

c'mon??? when patches is killed?!?!?! that's hilarious.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:53 (seventeen years ago) link

I only like Dodgeball because of Jason Bateman. Also I have a tiny tiny crush on Vince Vaughn.

jessie monster, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:53 (seventeen years ago) link

Dodgeball is AWESOME.

In "Starsky and Hutch", Will Farrel is the creepy convict they interview who wants them to pet his dragon tattoo before giving up critical info!

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:54 (seventeen years ago) link

Patches is great, that's true. also, Jason Bateman is genius in that movie. marry me, Jason Bateman!

Gary Cole: "This is shocking"

Jason Bateman: "I feel shocked!"

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:55 (seventeen years ago) link

Those two are genius.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:56 (seventeen years ago) link

also I like the reveal where Christine Taylor has a million unicorn figurines in her house.

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:57 (seventeen years ago) link

I think I just really hate Ben Stiller in that movie, especially Ben Stiller in the fat suit. so mean.

horseshoe, Tuesday, 17 April 2007 21:57 (seventeen years ago) link

It's like TS: Fred Willard in "Best of Show" vs Jason Bateman in "Dodgeball" and I'm all ";_; want to pick both ;_;"

SNAP: Ben Stiller was so ridiculous in that movie!
