San Francisco and what to do in it

anyone ever been to an alameda county fair? worth a visit? the website makes it sound pretty lame, but i've never been to a county fair before.

I have a friend who has been a bunch of times -- I think she went a couple of years ago to see Joan Jett iirc? She loves it. Though she usually goes to the weird random headliner and the petting zoo, I never hear much else about the fair haha.

You should go though! I'm sure it'd be fun!

It's expensive for what it is. I'd rather go to the state fair.

I looked at East Bay. Narrowed it to our rent here and was presented with an array of depressing apartments in the middle of nowhere. Haha you should all move!

I've probably said this b4 but our rent on a one-bed apt in SF (nice and spacious one tbf) was about double our monthly mortgage payments on 2-bed fancy flat in nice area of southern British city
