still kinda expecting Sawyer and Juliet to get it on given her penchant for dodgy blokes

I'm not really sure what more they can do with Sawyer, though - it felt like his storylines reached a dead end by the beginning of Season 3. Like with Charlie they pulled the "he's a good guy, he's a bad guy, he wants redemption, but he's selfish" see-saw too many times without adding substantially to his story - after the Cooper strangling he feels rather pointless.

There's loads they can do with him - and they'll need to as well seeing as he's the only Season One big guy left on the island. Well, Locke as well depending which point in time we're talking. Plus there's that baby stuff that I don't really care about. I suspect quite a bit of it will be him looking for Claire.

guys I saw a couple of clips from one of the episodes (about 90 seconds in total) and HOLY SHIT we're going to see some REALLY interesting things. Anyone having a premiere party? Any themes/ideas? I got nothing.

also, I agree with upthread.. Rewatched TNPLH on the weekend and MEGA LOLZ with Locke saying "you do know he said NOT to put metal in there right?"

oh also, I don't know what it means but I was rewatching a s3 Ben episode and Horace Goodspeed, in the episode where you see Ben come to the island as a kid, tells Ben “I was there the day of your birth,” which we obviously saw (he rescued Ben’s dad/dying mom) and struck me as having a pretty huge parallel with Alpert being at the hospital when John Locke was born. Horace later appears to John, and has the map/blueprint to Jacob’s cabin in his pocket.. so I wonder if we will see more Horace?

I've been watching the best bits of S4 again and Miles is hilarious.

I hope that half the season isn't taken up by all the currently off-island characters running around California sneaking into each other's houses in the middle of the night.

I'm hoping for lots of Widmore and Ben level political intrigue. Also Faraday will have to find Desmond at some point because he'll be needing his constant back.

INCREDIBLY ANAL AND GEEKY THING I HAVE ONLY JUST NOTICED - the plot of The Constant hinges on Penny having the same phone number in 1996 as in 2004, but all the telephone numbers in London actually changed around 2000, which means Future Desmond On The Boat would never have been able to reach her. Well, actually he would, because Penny could evidently see into the future and gave him a new-style London number. Obviously I didn't notice any of this at the time because I was too busy going 'OMG this is amazing!' over and over again.

God I am ashamed of myself for posting that.

Lost party going down wednesday night!

So I read up on wikis, as dude suggested

Horace (the guy who found Ben and died when Ben gassed the dharma iniative - Ben closed his eyelids when he went back to the scene) will be back this season (even if only in flashbacks) because I think I read he'll be back somewhere, and Horace works for The Arrow which has a unknown purpose ATM, like The Door (which probably was just a decoy since it was at the decoy camp - and only rocks were found behind it) and The Orchid and The Temple (links to the stations). Horace is a mathematician so I'm sure he might be important regarding time travel or the stuff daniel faraday was working on. His wife is a teacher who had a symbol on her vest that isn't one of the ones.

Ben's childhood friend might come back as well. Annie

so yeah, Horace, Olivia and Annie should be back (even if only in flashbacks) - according to DVD commentarys.

Have listened to this so many times I'm disappointed when it doesn't happen on the real one. Watching it now to get psyched up!!

I took a sick day to stay in and watch the inaugural events this morning. I have decided to follow that up with a front-to-back consecutive viewing of Season 4, in anticipation of tomorrow night's premiere. I'm four episodes in thusfar. It's going to be a long night.

I'd assumed Ben's contacts knocked out Anthony Cooper and brought him to the Island on the submarine?

Got a feeling it'll take them the entire season to find Claire, now she's hanging with Jacob and Christian in the invisible cabin, and the dudes who can see it (Locke and Hurley) are off-island.

claire not appearing for most of this season if i'm not mistaken.

3. most likely from the blip when the Swan imploded - Penny wasn't the only person tracking the island.
4. i was wondering if miles' abilities might be related to how Desmond was able to see the future?

Black Rock's gonna be big this season - thinking back to the scene where Widmore buys the first mate's log or whatever at auction. My guess is 'the island was moved and appeared out of nowhere right under where the Black Rock was sailing'.

yeah I guess that is how Cooper came to be on the island, it still isn't that clear though.

I am hoping that the reason they are bothering to make us care about Charlotte is that she is either Ben's gf Annie or their child (+/- age due to weird time shifting things). Otherwise GTFO, Lewis.

Charlotte is obviously linked to the Dharma Initiative in some way and probably the key to us finding out what it actually did. Also I quite like her zingy bitchiness.

I wonder if the main reason Ben wants to go back is cuz Locke is dead. Ben just wants back on Jacob's good side or something.. and maybe Jacob himself can admit he was wrong for choosing Locke over Ben.

But that wouldn't work with my theory (I just made up) of Jacob as a time traveling ghost confined to the house because he wouldnt have chosen Locke in the first place?

By the way, I'm not sure we really need a new thread so I'm just removing the word 'Anticipation', if that's cool?
