flannel pjs in public is the worst imo.
a gaggle of teen girls came into the place where I get my lunch wearing pj bottoms, uggs, tiny tank tops & with the worst birdsnested sideways bedhair...I was like "Did you come here straight from a gangbang? Jesus, put some clothes on."

none of that bothers me at all -- if people smell, that's one thing, but general slovenliness is a person's right

in teenagers it disturbs me. brings out my dormant mom-gene

that pjs and uggs thing not so much slovenliness as a pretty carefully cultivated look. on campus in the summer or fall it's usually running shorts and a sorority t-shirt with running shoes. like every. single. day.

I remember back in lolcollege that tons of people, male and female alike, would wear those snapaway track pants everywhere. I'll cop to owning a few pairs, but they never left my dorm or apartment.

Wear what you want outside. I usually just go for comfort or utility.

i saw a whole GROUP of girls wearing tight black leggings like pants today. but they were all running, so weirdly they didn't look like they weren't wearing pants. not even when they stopped running at the crosswalks.

Yeah running/dancing/gym is what theyre for. Wearing in the street with high heels and a short tshirt with yr undies visible, is not.

I saw a girl at the grocery story with those thin leggings-tights and a short t-shirt. It was like her legs were just lightly sprayed with black cotton spray, and it sort of looked like she was naked. (Like when you see girls in bodypaint and you know they're naked but you try to pretend they're not, or viceversa). She was tiny and cute and had a nice ass so w/e, but it's still a weird look for buying milk.

My wife and I frequently go to breakfast on weekends at a nearby place, and there is a college campus close by. We often see groups of 4,5,6 girls ALL dressed like this.

when i was an undergrad i wrote a workshop poem that began "a miniskirt and ugg boots / make any woman an eskimo prostitute" (it wasn't a very good poem) and toi derricotte called me a racist.

i work at a university and am more horrified each passing year by the simultaneously increasing immodesty and slovenliness of the american youth.

i could deal with either immodesty or slovenliness. ideally a well-kempt immodesty.

it made me feel weird & old to realize the last couple years that seeing women everywhere in leggings in the winter made me think about how cold they must be more than anything else
