I forgot to post this when it happened, but once I had a dream that Ned lived in a huge penthouse apartment and was a Scarface-style crime lord.

I just dreamed that Ally wrote a book -- and not a short one -- about her obsession with pop music, and the thing was bleeding brilliant. It was recommended to me by a guy in the library, and it was huge and dusty and cloth-bound, and it was... holy shit, it was by Ally!

Last nite I dreamt that I went to Australia for the w/e. I got to stroke an otter & a red squirrel (which was in fact white.) Coincidence that I was tired this morning? I think not!

I had a dream last night that I was record shopping with Tom, Felicity and Spencer Chow! I bought Journey's greatest hits which in my dream had the best cover ever, and also a Peter Gabriel CD and somehow these two purchases came to about $200.

Oh and in my dream Spencer was wearing a pink sweater which seemed, at best, totally unnecessary. I had blonde hair again! I keep having dreams in which I have blonde hair.

No, the cover in my dream was awesome, it was Journey in a convertible Camaro flying through outer space with big grins on their face and they all gave thumbs up and had guitars and stuff strapped to their backs :( :( :(

I dunno. me and millar and ally were secret agents or OPERATIVES of some kind and doing OK. then it turned out millar and ally were baddies and they had to kill me because I might stop them from doing the bad stuff. ally saved/let me go once and I was in the boot of a car w/ a big lady and dastoor and the people driving it worked with millar and they thought only the big lady was in there and then I was in a hotel and they didn't know I was in a room and they came in and I shot millar in the neck but he was OK and his friend shot me in the stomach. millar leaned over, all horrible and mocking, and told me about when I would die and a towel soaked w/ blood and they sit around and wait for me to die and I go to the toilet and try to break out of a foot squared window and wake up.

Last night I dreamt that I was at Glasto with my sister and it was raining really heavily and everyone was miserable and then the first band came on stage and it featured MARK S RAPPING ABOUT BALZAC! He was dressed all in black and wearing a big black furry Russian hat.

Sunday morning I dreamt I was running from this huge walking robot contraption. It was kind of like a walking oil platform. I saw it coming toward this factory that I was at and just started running. Then I was running through people's homes. And then a field with some cows. Then I was looking for a rocket launcher or something in the field, but woke up. Action sequence narrowly averted. :-(

I had a dream last night that I was staying in a hotel room with my brother, Lars Ulrich (I wish I was making this up). Instead of a mini-bar, there was a washing machine shaped like one of those little fridges.

I don't know what this means! I've never even listened to a Metallica album.

I had the weirdest frickin dream that John Darn1elle died and there was an ILE thread about him that was some kind of combination of the Elliott Smith thread and the Celebrity Momus thread. It was strange and unhappy.

Hmm...a few weeks ago I dreamed that the M0unt@1n G0@ts were playing in DC (the Black Cat back stage) and I was there with a bunch of ILXorz. (NB: I have never knowingly listened to the MGs.) I was specifically listening to to guitar, thinking, "Okay, this is acoustic guitar-playing, influenced by Slayer....I don't hear the Slayer."

I once dreamt I met Tom Petty in the Indianapolis Children's Museum. I told him my favorite song of his was "Runaway Trains" and he said there were too many keyboards on it.

I had a dream about waiting for a certain Ilxor to get out of the bathroom recently. They were taking a long time. The name is being struck from the record in order to protect the innocent.

I dreamt I had started a society dedicated to ridiculing the worst in culture and art. We had become quite popular, ironically, and our meeting was scheduled to be on television. About 300 of us (or more) filled a beautifully designed concert hall/auditorium for the meeting. At the meeting, I met Momus (who had joined the society) who was accompanied by a rather slender, good-looking gay man named Anthony. Momus and I got along rather well and were trading lots of good ideas about art. Then the meeting started. It was totally democratic and non-hierarchical (although I was sort of considered a leader, there were no rules on member rank and no one had to wait to speak in turn). At some point, we brought out a few members of the Eagles (with the exception of Joe Walsh, who was spared because of his involvement in James Gang and his solo records) to answer for their crimes against humanity.

Later, in an unrelated dream, I smoked a few bowls of pot with my dad at a rock concert/short story reading/weird cultural event in a stadium in Pittsburgh.

Oh dear. I dreamt last night that I was playing soccer on a sunny pitch AGAINST THE PINEFOX. We were on opposing teams. The dream occurred in those half-asleep minutes of the morning when several dreams begin to collide. I'd been dreaming earlier of playing soccer as a small child, against other children; I woke up and when I went back to sleep I was again playing soccer but now as an adult.

I remember the Pinefox getting the ball in our half of the field, somewhere outside the penalty box, and he began to dribble in a kind of loping, feinting manner around the perimeter, not attacking the goal (nor passing) but almost just for the beauty of it, keeping to the outside, and keeping the ball away from us. Not directly defending, I was more of a midfielder, and so hung back a bit, waiting for a mistake or for the ball to pop out. He looked quite smart in his Umbros and black soccer cleats.

Then the pinefox did something curious. He had an appointment to keep, and he kicked the ball hard out of bounds. When it came back in I snared it and had just open grass between me and the opposing goalie, but as is the case with all dreams like this, I either lost the ball or never reached the goal. In any case the end never came.

I dreamt that Ed & Suzy were staying at my house a little while ago.

Last nite I dreamt that I was in some sort of weird competition. I ended up going into the woods & there was a horse which came trotting over. Then it started to speak to me. At first it was pretty cool, but then it turned horrible as it asked me to do some bad things. I cant for the life of me remember what though! (not bad things to the horse i have to add!!!)

i had a dream that i was trapped in jersey and desperately trying to get to geeta's birthday party. i was staying with a hispanic family who were deeply offended when i told them i had to leave before dinner. then i had to rush to the airport to catch my plane to nyc but i missed it.
