i have a love/hate relationship with them, but mostly i find them important.

i'm not sure why i find them so hateful. mine are okay; i've never had a cavity. my real father is a dentist, which might have something to do with it but seems too facile

my housemate N always had a snaggle, and also a crowded mouth fulla teeth like a crumbling old cemetary. I love it, its what makes him, him (he hates them mind u). Then his snaggletooth fell out a year or 2 back!

phil i want to see teeth in the mouth where they live, not on A TABLE. that's kinda scary.

I wore braces from 4th to 9th grades.

Had the headgear that I still claim residual neck pain from. Rubber bands and retainers too.

My teeth are straighter now. Still got one front bottom tooth that hides behind its buddy.

I don't know what I'm going to do when one of my kids gets pushed toward braces. I don't look like a Bald Knobber anymore, but man, it was a bitch and pain to go through.

It'll probably resemble my advice to them about attending college.
