Apparently a pharmacy and a couple of shops are being looted on Lordship Lane. Has the potential to get very nasty, very quickly. Strong possibility the community there could come out in force to protect properties.

I've never known this city to feel too dangerous to go out in before. Even in July 2005. Unbelievable.

Lads running shops down my end of Green Lanes have drafted their beefy cousins in to help defend the place. Clashes between Turkish and African / Afro-Carib kids have led to several deaths over the last couple of years - tied to gangs, not anything like this, but there's an underlying issue there that could boil over easily.
