why the fuck do we work so early? is there ANYONE you know who wouldn't want to start work at like 10 or 10:30 or whatever? why are we still clinging to the antequated tradition of waking up early to go to work?

if i didn't have to be at work at nine, it would only encourage me to stay up later, so it wouldn't really affect my mood or energy level one way or the other. Plus, I like going home at 5-6 o'clock.

hi, i was going to come on this thread sometime and ask pete 69 about getting yr credit card number stolen. though maybe it's mostly chicagoans today anyway.

turns out that i had two UPS packages stolen from my building's lobby the same afternoon that somebody went crazy with my cc #. there wouldn't have been a cc number on the receipts, but that's a bit too coincidental for my tastes. i know that my cc company will work things out and i did the fraud alert thing, but it's kinda worrying.
