and remember max, no films you have to read.

TMR is classic 'well-intentioned' liberal homophobia, and Jude Law is great in it, but I'm sure this is on an Untalented Mr Minghella thread somewhere.

well secretly in terms of famousness if not ilx consensus

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 18:51 (fifteen years ago)

I don't know about his acting, but Casey's screen presence is weirder and more interesting than Mr. Garner and Mr. Ripley's.

as long as i'm being an asshole, i might as well say i never thought "how do you like them apples" was that funny, what with the labored "do you like apples?" setup, i mean, who says that?

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:04 (fifteen years ago)

my friend has a tape of a school play she was in w/affleck and she says damon was the cool guy and affleck was his sidekick fwiw

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:08 (fifteen years ago)

wd be cool if dude was all "APPLES KILLED MY MOTHER NO I FUCKING HATE APPLES CMERE YOU LITTLE PISSANT" and smashes a bottle on the table and chases Damon down the street screaming maniacally waving the broken bottle

Square-Panted Sponge Robert (VegemiteGrrrl), Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:08 (fifteen years ago)

tbh i don't really like apples that much so that line would have fallen flat on me

horseshoe, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:08 (fifteen years ago)

I have the wretched feeling that my mention of GWH has irremediably sidetracked this thread.

Aimless, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:09 (fifteen years ago)

i like apples a lot and did u know theyre one of the highest satiating foods there is, factoid!

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:10 (fifteen years ago)

Exhausting to eat though.

Gus Van Sotosyn (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:11 (fifteen years ago)

horseshoe, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:13 (fifteen years ago)

johnny apple seed was irl a hard cider entrepreneur, he would buy up land cheap in areas people were just starting to move into and plant orchards then when the trees were bearing fruit and the population had increased hed sell the orchards to cider producers

ice cr?m, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:13 (fifteen years ago)

the thing about apples is they're too hard

horseshoe, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:13 (fifteen years ago)

like ILX for Damon!

Gus Van Sotosyn (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:14 (fifteen years ago)

lolol horseshoe and Alfred tag team WIN

Square-Panted Sponge Robert (VegemiteGrrrl), Wednesday, 29 December 2010 19:15 (fifteen years ago)

if you plant an apple seed you wont get the same type of apple as the seed came from, youll get a random variety, the vast majority of apple varieties are unpalatable, so if you want apples for eating you need to grow the tree from a cutting, but all apples are good for making hard cider!
