The fire hydrant that looks like a dismembered robot.

Here are a few more:

You know how hard it is to draw a trash receptacle that doesn't look a robot or martian in disguise?

I had a caption for this, but can't remember it.

I've been drawing Seymour Skinner since before there was a Seymour Skinner, fwiw.

Finally, I had this idea for a strip that revolved around a sports talk radio station. One of my characters was going to be based on Houston Nutt:

Houston Mutt?

Austin Mutt. I hadn't even thought of what his name could be.

I tried out the series for awhile, but then put it down. I'll go though phases of drawing stuff like this once a year or so, and then… I'll lose it somehow.

One year, February 29, 2000, I got in this huge fight with a Kinko's worker and didn't draw for another five years.

I sound really flighty when I type this out, but I swear I've been doing other things too!

what happened to the storyline in the sketch? mutt seems to be making a high-power sports-agent type deal, then hand-holding a player.

Wasn't much of a storyline as much as it was the different shades of crab-pinching and elastic facial expressions he could do.

Thank you. Those wardrobes are better heard than seen.
