also, i discovered why she told me that she hadn't been punched in the face yet! i assumed at the time that it was because of something i said or did (i can get combative when i'm drinking...specifically: headbutts), but it turns out that she was really drunk and begging everyone to punch her in the face so she could feel what it felt like

college: best friend informed me of recent personal misfortune, i said "why don't you go cry about it, you big baby" and she slugged me

college: same friend punched me because i brought up ^^^^^ at a party and she thought it would be funny. it was, sort of!

chicago: TWIN SISTER of friend, for pretty much the same reasons

8 yrs old, underwater: i gave the finger to some kid who i felt had NOT been acting like a gentleman to the ladies of our party (i think he pinched someone's butt??) and punched me in the face. but it was underwater, and in slow motion, so it didn't really hurt at all.
