Yeah, I was going to geek out about phase relationships earlier, but that's pretty much the best way of looking at it.

Also, check yer emails pedal/recorder people.

That's a beartrap, y'all.

oh my fucking god he's got two people, one from another department, hanging over him right now, to answer a completely different question.

ONE WHICH I HAVE ANSWERED LIKE THREE TIMES ALREADY BTW, ON VARIOUS DAYS.

horseshoe, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:26 (seventeen years ago) link

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:26 (seventeen years ago) link

at least say this is some new employee and not D or I

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:27 (seventeen years ago) link

it's not either of those ppl

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:28 (seventeen years ago) link

ok srsly it is pretty simple. i will explain here. we also have to do regular line classifieds here, and not just the pretty big full page ads that you actually notice in magazines. so, if you've ever placed a classified, you should know that most of the time things are estimated costs because when they typeset, shit can change depending on style guidelines, kerning, blabbity blah blah blah. so, we get a daily report here noting if any of the ads that have been booked have changed in line count.

now, if you were someone booking ads here, would you run pplz credit cards and send paperwork to billing BEFORE or AFTER you receive this report?

regardless of your answer, if someone tells you that you don't have to "rebook" the ad, you just have to open the old copy and reprint paperwork, would you ask this question SEVENTEEN TIMES after you get the first or perhaps second explanation?

and regardless of your answer to that, is it really that hard to figure out that you have to click on an arrow, neatly located next to the order number in the list, to take you to that particular order?

fucking hell.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:31 (seventeen years ago) link

not to mention that by not just going into the system and TYPING IN THE ORDER NUMBER versus typing in contact's name or perhaps city or maybe their institution he is going about opening orders the most ass-backwards way in the history of the world.

goddamnit i am tempted to take the promotion just because i would like to harass to receive an office. with a door. that i can shut.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:38 (seventeen years ago) link

I want "There's always an afterparty, we just don't always know where it is" on a belt buckle.

Laurel, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:45 (seventeen years ago) link

aw Ben Roethlisberger likes John Legend and the movie The Break Up

horseshoe, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 18:48 (seventeen years ago) link

My childhood dog was also named Zeus (by me), and thus this football playing fellow is a good man.

Viral marketing for next Eddie Murphy movie?

n/a, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 19:11 (seventeen years ago) link

I would go see "Eddie Murphy And The Magic Bullet" especially if there were song and dance numbers

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 19:17 (seventeen years ago) link

Man I haven't seen The Golden Child in a long time

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 19:18 (seventeen years ago) link

I would not see any Eddie Murphy movie for any enticement that's even minimally likely to happen, ie not "a million dollars".

Laurel, Wednesday, 11 April 2007 19:24 (seventeen years ago) link

I would see it as long as it was directed by Oliver Stone.
