Oh it's been done before. Santacon in Ann Arbor in, maybe, 2005 or so was a combined zombie/santa event.
My outfit was recognized by one or two people(not including the friends i'd went there with). One of them remarked, "Holy shit, a Doctor Who reference!" and gave me a little glow in the dark zombie from that board game.

Also, I didn't the unthinkable and shave off both my goatee and my fu manchu/handlebars stache for this get-up(for the first time in 10 years, i might add). I think I'm going to just shave the rest off now and let everything grow back proper-like
