I think I should be glad I'm still up $0.95 for the week (last week's PWN CUP being my only cash).

that was a good cash though!!

srsly i had a $70 downturn the week before last. playing absolutely stinking poker too (i was so desperate for good cards when i had some i keep playing them too hard, going for too many coinflips and it was a vicious circle). playing these ilx games is actually quite therapeutic, actually playing with people you know rather than faceless fulltilt accounts really put the game back in the correct perspective

saying that i'd probably start a massive losing streak again soon

Wait - found it! I didn't realize I was defaulted to "Basic View" for the lobby.

i normally just use the filter settings and look for private tourneys that happen at 16:00 (there's usually only 4 and only 1 that is $5+1

I haven't, Wm - is there any genuine appeal, or is it just gimmicky? On FT I only play these ILX tourneys so my payroll is under $100...

It seemed gimmicky at first but after a week it seems truly brilliant. I can't play it -- I'm not a ring game player anyway, and I don't have the iron will needed to figure out a plan and stick to it. But I'm reading about people who are counting their winnings in buy-ins per hour, not big blinds per hour. Meanwhile FT is hauling in tons of extra rake.

xpost played rush twice so far, got two buy-ins back within 10 minutes (then chickened out). I really don't know why it's so fishy whether it's new at the moment - or that it's like people don't realising they're losing loads of cash because they aren't seeing the same people they're playing each hand as a comparison with themselves.

So weird that raising the number of players by one bumps the number of places paid by two.
