Okay and "Muffintop" was funny.

Also the stuff about placing the products in the show was so fucking funny, especially after the Staples mentions & the shredder thing in The Office.

I don't mean the jokes that are supposed to fall flat falling flat bothers me, I mean the jokes that are supposed to be funny but are stale, like Jane saying "put my song in" and pete saying "ok" then Jane saying "c'mon put my song in". Oldest joke in the world.

but was it funny or was it an opportunity for them to make money and then try to make us think they were just being clever?

xpost to tracer
I mean, a show could be about hillbilly child molesters, but if the material was handled properly and the jokes were funny, I'd watch it.

I tried pitching a sitcom tonight about a threesome where the "extra girl" falls in love with the couple and no one was buying! I SUE YOU NBC IF YOU TRY THIS!

Euai Kapaui (tracerhand), Saturday, 18 November 2006 13:33 (nineteen years ago)

Why would you have posted something so off the money TWICE? That's not your style, Tracer Hand!

the only reason tina fey doesn't say "buh-JORK", like kennedy used to, is because she's too old for the irony to be a given

Since it's a rerun, I revive old thread and reprint the quote nicklicious pulled:

Is "Ya Burnt" a new catchphrase I'm not aware of?

Great episode all around.

Michael F Gill, Friday, 23 February 2007 04:55 (nineteen years ago)

Tonight's episode was so great I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant.

I love this show, but I am really looking forward to Andy Richter's new show...that and 30 Rock back to back would be the greatest thing.

I've started watching the first season. So so funny! The density of jokes in incredible. I haven't had so many laughs at a TV show for a long time.
