Well, since this thread has carried on quite happily without anyone showing any inclination to speak in my defence, that seems likely to mean that at least some people are inclined to agree with Aaron. In which case, I will remove myself, and permanently this time. I've loved this thread and its prevalent atmosphere, and I'm really sorry if I have soured it for anyone.

Martin, as I've said in email, I don't think that thinking you're being creepy is a common opinion. I could be wrong, sure, but it doesn't matter. Don't let something as silly as this get to you. I'm relatively certain that all anyone meant is that you're just coming off as much more serious about it than any of the rest of us are. It really doesn't mean anything at all.

There was an attempt to hi-jack the thread by a certain somebody, but luna gave a major smackdown, and that was that. (I tried to distract the hijack by a pic flood, but Andrew deleted my posts and decided to confront the hujacker directly. I don't blame Andrew, nor am I upset at all about that.. but if a section above seems to be confusing somewhat, that's why.)

Although perhaps at some point this thread should move to a Pt. 2, since it's now becoming rather a burden to load.

If it makes Martin feel any better, I am perfectly happy to divulge the name of his anonymous attacker. I don't believe that offering anonymity to posters launching direct attacks at other posters should be tolerated.

yes, and I thought badly of myself for that long before I read your post. I thought soon afterwards that I was overreacting, and must have known I was overreacting since I logged out to do it. I'm sorry, Martin.

But yeah, I think you were being a little creepy, esp. with insisting that it was no big deal cause if someone unattractive like you can do it then anyone can (the self-deprication is unnecessary, too), but then asking specific people to strip down, which of course says that you would prefer to see these people and maybe not these other people in their underwear, which rather goes against your original argument, and personalizes that whole thing in a way that made me feel uncomfortable on behalf of others. That's not my job, and I should have found a way to be nice about it at any rate. Anyway, yeah... logging out was a bad idea.

I said I wouldn't post more here, but two things: firstly sorry to Aaron, but I assumed your post after the anonymous one was saying it had been you - my first guess had been that it was Kenan.

Secondly, the reason I specifically addressed Maria was that she had talked about posting pics here but seemed unsure. I haven't been just picking names of people I'd like to see in their underwear.
