recently on ILX Dreams...

Coincidentally, I've just remembered that after the hott snogging session in my dream, me and everyone I was with arrived in Glasgow by train - but ended up trapped in a room somewhere in Central Station with the staff refusing to let us out. And then, I woke up.

i dreamt that i was admiring some pert buttocks crossing the street just ahead of me, then realized that they belonged to kate cthulu.

i have only the vaguest sense of what she looks like, so that's a bit strange.

This is all a bit hazy, but I dreamt that someone I knew (maybe another ILXor) had dressed up as Pleasant Plains and looked uncannily like him, right down to the goatee.

I can't remember anything about my dream last night other than there were a few ILXors in it. I wasn't going to revive this thread, but since it's popped up on the New Answers page anyway...

A few nights ago, I discussed violence and morality in classic Warner Bros cartoons with J.D.

Last night, Tico Tico and mark s were sharing a joint with some e in it (is that even possible?); Tom offered me some, I was like "uh, I have a history of insanity in my family, would this be wise?", he was like "nah" and so I didn't get to try, though I really wanted to. So L7 :(

oh last night I dreamed that andrew had totally recoded ilx and it had so many bells and whistles, like multimedia content and shit.

I had two ILX dreams in one night! The first one was that something mocking I'd posted on a grime thread caused the MC in question to come and get me and he had Jess with him, except Jess had a cockney accent and baseball cap and was carrying a bb gun. Anyway, I remember I had to run away and somehow the story got picked up by the Sun or something and kickstarted a race war. Half the people in London wanted to kill me so myself and my family fled to Ontario. I swear this ended with me actually sitting bolt upright in bed in a cold sweat.

Then I went back to sleep and dreamt that I was at London FAP and an old lady got killed, and everyone in the pub was a suspect. Then we found out the murderer was actually Andrew F.

I think this is evidence I'm not utilising my brain enough this week.

Last night I dreamt I went to Ronan's funeral! Only the thing was, Ronan was there too. He'd expected the problems with his nose to kill him and had organised his funeral in advance, then decided to go ahead with it anyway to see what people would say about him. Then I went home and posted on the ILX Ronan Memorial Thread, and he kept responding with 'I DIDN'T LIKE ELECTROHOUSE I LIKED MINIMAL OKAY?!!"

That was even weirder than a couple of weeks ago when I dreamt I'd donated my right testicle to Andrew Farrell so he could sire children, then he returned it in a highly ungrateful manner.

(back story: in starting to prepare for a course I have to teach in the spring, I was looking into Abraham Cahan's book The Rise of David Levinsky)

I'm in a field somewhere, and there's a stand-up comedy show, and the comic is David Levinsky. I'm troubled at this prospect, because I didn't realize it was happening, and I feel like I should see it to prepare for said course. I move up close and I see that 'David Levinsky' is none other than Tracer Hand, whom I've met all of once. I don't remember if he was funny, as I was preoccupied with my anxiety as to whether I was 'prepared'.

I had a dream that a serial killer was on the loose, and I found evidence that he had been in my closet.

That serial killer's name was Wrinklepaws.

I had a dream last night in which I was arguing about linguistics with The Milkmaid. It started when I said that I would rather be descriptive than proscriptive.

i had this long elaborate dream last night about something i can't remember, and suddenly i'm in a highschool hallway and Ned Ragggettt is talking to me - and he's scary skinny and has elaborate sideburns, like shaved neatly into celtic swirls that go down his face. yeah.

TOMBOT and Allyzay were my neighbors in my dream last night. I vaguely remember being scolded by the two of them for not mowing my grass often enough. They had a black and gold Tron-esque motorcycle in their driveway.

Matt DC had magical powers in my dream last night.

A couple of weeks ago, I dreamt that I was walking near Tottenham Court Road tube, and I spotted a little pet shop with a big sign that said: ONIMO. I went in, because, of course, it was Onimo's pet shop. He was annoyed at having to stay late (at the pet shop), but told me he would come out to the pub later.

Last night, Teh Kit. He was behind the counter of a shop too. That's all I remember, though.

The other night I dreamt this:

I had taken the kids on holiday and we were staying at a big house somewhere in central Europe with Ally & Tom. Ally and I went down in the morning to make some breakfast and we both wanted chips but there were no potatoes - it was then I remembered that I had dreamt (yes, within the dream) of a soaking wet Tom carrying Charlie in his arms before collapsing and I was sure it was linked somehow to us going out to buy potatoes. After a bit of discussion I somehow managed to persuade her that this was actually going to happen (I think I told her that Tom died in my dream, but I can't really remember) and we didn't go out to the shops - instead we kept Tom and Charlie in our sight all day to make sure nothing happened. In the early evening they started glowing before disappearing. God then whispered in my ear that they were supposed to die and I had spoiled his plan "you selfish bastard" so he destroyed the world in a fit of pique.

Wow.

I had a vivid dream involving SteveM a few days ago but couldn't find this thread.

Last night I dreamed I drove a school bus and a fat chinese kid was bullying a smaller child so I punched the bully full in the face.

I'm allergic to cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and most birds. My pet shop would be shit.

Last night I dreamt that myself and Jon Williams moved to the country to run a pub. The only thing was, we didn't have any food for the customers so we went out into the woods out the back to capture a pig. When we got it back to the pub we were at a total loss as to what to do with it so I gave Porkpie a call and he came over and killed it, then we roasted it on a spit and served it to the punters.

The actual pig-killing bit was kinda graphic. I think it shat itself at one point.

Archel was in my dream last night. She was advising me on my pregnacy (NB: I am not pregnant, nor do I intend to be at any point in the near future.) I was also trying to download a pair of boots for an old school friend, but they wouldn't allow me to get a size 8 as my cookies were set to my size, 4. Still, much better than the previous night which was all about nearly being raped.

I wish people would visit me in dreams to advise me on my OWN pregnancy. I know nothing!

Last night I dreamed that I was trying to do computer work but the windows kept drifting down and disappearing off the bottom of the screen. Finally I used tweezers to peel the icons off the windows and placed them like stamps directly on the monitor screen, upon which the data was absorbed into the system.

I recently dreamt that I couldn't get a wireless connection because my leg was hanging out of the bed and my duvet was the internet.

i dreamt that i visited huk-l in his VERY swank apt. all his furniture (really nice darkwood stuff) was designed and built by his former roommate... hstencil.

The other night I dreamt that the cast of US TV show Heroes (basically X-Men for Lost/24/Prisonbreak fans, pretty good) were all members of my family, only I was Jack Bauer and had to kill them. I killed them by "shooting" them with my bare hands - i.e. pointing index fingers and going "bang!". They all "died" without a fuss except for Nikki/Jessica, who was really surly and like "I'm not dead just cos you pointed your finger and went 'bang!' at me". Then I had to report back to my superior officer, who was Louis Jagger, sitting on the floor of my girlfriend's parent's living room, playing Dungeons & Dragons with two teenage girls.

Most unusual.
