this is spam? spam for a cool record whose release has been carefully engineered to guarantee maximum e-bay resale value but...

Thanks!
How else should we get the word out? We're a small org, and I know the band has fans, so I thought they'd like to hear about it.
The eBay re-sale value is something we can't control. The cost of doing deluxe vinyl is extremely high. It's costing us nearly 8x that of doing a CD run to do these. Also, records are many times larger than CDs, weight-wise and space-wise, so you can imagine that we'd have to spend through the nose to make tons and tons of deluxe vinyl and have a nice warehouse space to store them.
Here are medleys BTW of the records, including clips from the bonus tracks:

Can I just say something? Noone loves colour vinyl more than I do. Been buying it for 20 odd years now. But please please please dont do splatter vinyl. It's horrible.

the most dedicated purchasers of heavy metal vinyl must LOVE splatter vinyl (and gold embossing and crazy elaborate goth packaging, and leather-textured surfaces). shit is inescapable in metal, and not often found elsewhere.

pressing plants must do special offers. All the metal boards moan like fuck about splatter vinyl but people still buy it as thats all thats on offer.

ok i'll bite.why is splatter vinyl bad ? is it the process of the pressing that makes the end product sub-standard, or, is it the visual chaos when the record spins ? i only have one such item, the recent dj food vs aa 12", and as yet, i have not dropped the needle on the groove (to be fair there is no need to spoil the vinyl with my wornout sytlus as i have the cd version).

Well, I think they came out looking quite alright! The USA splatter versions have sold out. So if you like black vinyl, we've still got a few of those left :)
