Her debut album was released yesterday. I'm really liking it. Finally someone at Labrador with great vocals! In terms of sound, nothing Lykke Li hasn't done before, but definitely top rate songwriting as well. What does ILM think?

Listened to this with high hopes, because Doubt is an amazing song, and although it doesn't quite reach the same heights as that, this is a really good listen. She's got such a great voice, so direct and delicate. If anything it reminds me of a cross between El Perro Del Mar's first and most recent albums: heartbroken and sad with as much of a 60s girl-group vibe as a modern pop one.

It's kinda scary to think she's only 16 because she sounds a lot older and stronger, but she also seems a bit more thoughtful and considered lyrically. This is far better than Lykke Li, and I say that as a fan.

(all that said, the "smell me and tell me/kiss me and spoon me" part on Skinnarviksberget is definite o_0 moment)

This one reminds me of Studio a bit.

"Doubt" is one of my most-played songs of 2012 so far, and I sure like what I've heard of the album so far.

Didn't realize the album was already here. I've liked "Doubt" for several months.

The production on here is often really great, but she sings like a well-trained kid imo. I don't know if that's a dealbreaker yet, but there's no oomph to her voice.

OH, HAHA! Well that explains that then.

two weeks pass...

I wish more people were more excited by this album, I know it's not going to change the world or anything but it really does seem like a triumph of sorts.

I adore it. "House" is heartbreakingly gorgeous.

her new track is pretty dope (even though I keep expecting it to turn into "Rolling in the Deep"). apparently she's putting out an EP next month

To The Moon EP got lost in the tail-end of last year but it is fantastic, a lot more synth-pop than the debut album but it really suits the softness in her voice. I feel like this time around she's got a much stronger handle on her voice, feels much more instinctive than before.
