When I first posted here, I was single, childless, had just turned 30, and worked in an industry I loathed (advertising) while trying to get my band off the ground. Now I am single, childless, getting closer to turning 40, work in a different industry I loathe even more, and trying to get a different band to regain being airborne.

xpost Scott-- I had the exact same experience turning 39 a few weeks go. All of a sudden I care about my age, without really giving a shit before now.
