Q: I only have Wi-fi. Will the Gaze still work without the recommended direct connection? Will the stream still work?

A: Yes, the Gaze always flows, but if you don’t have a strong, plug in connection there are no guarentees that there will be no interference to the livestream. As one who tries nearly nightly to Skype with Braco from a shaky wi-fi connection, constantly, I know that a plug in option would be a much nicer experience. The connection often breaks apart and it can be frustrating, but we live off-grid with no options so I keep trying. Sometimes I’m successful, sometimes I resort to the phone instead of throwing my computer out the window. Follow your heart, but know it’s the difference between using an old black and white TV set with rabbit ears and being plugged into cable receiving information from a Satellite dish. This technology is only as good as your best computer connection.

they're these two guys who met at temple u. maybe go to comedy central's website and watch a bunch of their stuff. they're sort of obsessed with public access television, infomercials, low budget televisuals in general

they also fixate on toilet humor, which can get old fast, but aside from that, i think they are genuinely hilarious when they focus on the nuances of whatever i mentioned up there in the first paragraph of this post. so, at their best they do spot-on absurd takes on the dumbest aspects of nineties popular culture and beyond. it's worth a look. the kind of thing you might have to warm up to or sift past the crud to get into

yeah dell totally otm. It is, in my opinion, totally and completely about the nuances: their little pauses and twitches and facial expressions and the manner in which they deliver lines, etc. Also, they reach a level of weird that's very difficult to attain, and they sort parody vibes and scenarios more than like actual concrete ideas or objects.

Also, they reach a level of weird that's very difficult to attain,

This sort of nails it. I've seen some damn poor imitations, and really, they weren't doing anything much different than T&E. Somehow, T&E pull it off.

Sunny was not a fan, but I've caught her watching over my shoulder a time or two.

I was just poking around Superstar's youtubes and there was one of him "chilling at home" so I started watching it and it turned out to be him posing in daisy dukes on a bed strewn with stuffed animals. Disturbing. Then the screen froze and a co-worker came over and I couldn't minimize. Not awkward at all.

I think it's the way the performance is based on figure skating and has to be themed, yet they just do a comically half assed little hand motion or something between slowly paddling forward and then slowly spinning around.

The canoe is unique in that it is both phallic, in the obvious ways, and vaginal, most apparent when the artist leans toward the audience, splaying, revealing the shapely inner canoe, the flower. It's...breathtaking.

A lot of big personalities in this sport, a lot of emotions. It's like paddling upstream sometimes. You've got to really balance those emotions, even when things look like they're about to capsize. Even then it seems like you're just slowly spinning in circles, and you can't figure out what the hell you're looking at. You get through it all, and it's like the drama is over, and you can golf-clap yourself for coming out a better person.

The camera work in this is just...

half-second wide shot of Scott adjusting tie. Cut to:
1 second close up of Scott adjusting tie. Cut to:
Wide shot of Scott introducing himself. Slow pan in, five seconds. Cut to:
Scott, in profile, 1 second. Cut to:
Scott's hand movement, and right jacket detail. 1 second. Cut to:

Really bizarre.
